Bro. Joseph Uzor
(Brother-In-Charge of the Help Ministry)
The Help Ministry is set forth in 1 Corinthians 12:28 and has an essential role at the Bride Assembly Church. It is a group of brethren in the Bride Assembly Church, with the vision to restore the church of Jesus Christ back to the apostolic age and have the gift to help the needy as it was seen in the book of Acts 2:44-45, Acts 4:32-35.
Together in unity, on each occasion, the members gather to serve, through hospitality, in the Lord's service. In accordance with Acts 6:2-3, their assignment is to see to the needs of the people, whether it's calling them on the phone, giving gifts, visiting, giving a word of encouragement or other duties as deemed necessary.
The help ministry was commissioned to help the less-privileged such as the widows, orphans and related cases within and outside the church, as was directed by God in the book of James 1:27; religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this; to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and keep one-self unstained from the world.
2 Corinthians 9:9, Proverbs 19:17: He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord and he will repay him for his deeds.
The Help Ministry also find itself spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through giving: Help Ministry is open to every member of Bride Assembly Church who has the gift of giving. The ministry or group, because of their activities in the Bride Assembly Church, are called Love Family by her members.
