The vision of the founders of The Bride Assembly Church is to have a body of Christ united in love as members of one big family and caring for one another at all times. This is the basis for the formation of the Welfare Department/Ministry to serve as a vehicle for the achievement of this goal. The Welfare Department which is headed by the Church Welfare Deacon is in charge of the general welfare administration of the Church as it relates to ministers, workers and members.
The welfare department sees to the medical needs of the church ministers and workers, and indeed other members of the church as the case may be.
This department, through the welfare deacon or welfare officer, organizes visitation team to visit members when such a need arises i.e. when members have babies, are bereaved, sick or on admission in the hospital, or for any reason they are not in fellowship, etc.
In an incident of death or burial of any minister, worker or indeed any member of the church, the welfare department through its Head is saddled with the responsibility of liaising with the family to arrange for a befitting burial in respect of such deceased member.
From time to time, the welfare department of the church provides foodstuff, clothing and occasionally shelter for the widows as well as the needy in the church.
