RaptureLiterally speaking, RAPTURE means transporting "CATCHING AWAY" (a believer) from earth to heaven at the second coming of Christ.

Now: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23). Thus, there is need for our sins to be washed away.
The reason Jesus had to die for our sins was that we could be forgiven and go to be with the Lord. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:9), and only God can satisfy the legal requirements of a perfect life and perfect sacrifice that cleanses us of our sins.

Doing nothing for our forgiveness as a human race will lead us to severe punishment. And the punishment for breaking the law is death - separation from God.
Romans 6:23 puts it this way: "For the wages of sin is death;....".

Because Jesus has died for our sins, thus creating a salvation process - from believing, to baptism of the water (for justification), to sanctification and to the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is glorification (Romans 8:28-30).

For God to fulfil the law of the kinsman redeemer (Ruth and Heb 2:14-18); save human race from destruction, He (Jesus) needs to come to us on earth in the flesh so that He can die for the remission of our sin. The angel of the Lord, in speaking to Joseph, said, "And thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins". Matthew 1:21. - [THIS IS JESUS FIRST COMING].

Therefore, the purpose of JESUS CHRIST'S FIRST COMING was to "REDEEM" His Bride by the shedding of His blood at the cross of calvary.
Revelation 5:9-10 states - "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;...".

The moment Jesus finished His mission in His first coming, He decided to go back to the Father. But He made a promise that He will return. This is expressly stated in John 14:3: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also".

Jesus Christ is coming back to take away the ones that have been "REDEEMED" by His blood.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 highlights in this way: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Another mystery of rapture is found in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52: "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed".

Jesus Christ's SECOND COMING will be the literal RAPTURE of the church. It is the "CATCHING AWAY" of Jesus' Bride.

Paul the apostle likened the christian church to a "chaste virgin" espoused to one Husband, the Lord Jesus Christ in 2 Corinthians 11:2: For "I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ".
The church is supposed to be a "virgin" of the word, free from man-made dogmas, creeds and traditions.

Christ is coming for a Bride that is blameless, without spot, and without wrinkle.
The church, Jesus' bride, ought to be prepared with holiness and zeal right now. She ought to have worn the wedding garment at this very moment, which is the robe of righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is coming soon. We do not know when He will come. Therefore, the Bride must be ready and must free herself from any form of "spiritual fornication".

Spiritual fornication is when the church accepts hybrid and man-made teachings that is not based on the bible - the word of God.

A woman that lives not according to God's word is considered a "whore" and a "harlot" before God's sight. The true church must walk in the light of the gospel and must be lead by the Holy Spirit. She must proclaim the pure word of God to this generation. She must bear "the mind of Christ in her", and not the mind of the world.

Revelation 19:7 reveals the marriage between Jesus Christ and His 'wife-to-be': "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready; And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints".

As christians, we must be ready for the marriage.
Unfortunately today, there are two categories of christians. They are:-
  • The ones that are dilatory and lukewarm. => (These ones are NOT ready)
  • The ones on fire for God, having her lamp constantly burning. => (These ones are ready)
The book of Matthew 25 talks about the two categories of christians.

[Matthew 25:1-13: "Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.  7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.  12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.  13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh".]

In the bible verse just rightly above, the word "virgins" was mentioned to represent "christians" of today. The virgins are NOT UNBELIEVERS, they are christians. They were all good people, everyone of them virgin, sanctified vessels of God.
Therefore, how do we know if we are the foolish christians or the wise christians?

Since the time of pentecost, the church has ever been on fire (Acts 2:1-6). The apostles experienced this great fire and revelation of the word. This fire extends till the time of Paul the apostle, to John the beloved, to the persecution of christians by the government of that time, even till today.

However, along the line, because the second coming of Jesus is being delayed or better put it like: "Jesus taking His time to return (as confirmed in verse 5(a) of Matthew 25)"; many events have taken place in christianity and are still taking place. Some of them include:-
Due to the events that have occured since Jesus Christ's return to the Father, as explained just rightly above, many christians have mingled with these events causes. Thus, giving rise to so many distractions and with many christians failing to find out the truth from the bible and by the revelation from the Holy Spirit.
Many christians today depend completely on their pastors' teachings; without investigating the truth from the bible and through the revelation from the Holy Spirit.
They let their oil go out.

In the Matthew 25 of the "virgins", it is important to recognize two main objects mentioned: Oil and the Lamp.

Leviticus 24:2: "Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually".

Psalm 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The oil is the revelation we receive from the Holy Spirit which interprets (to cause the lamp to burn) the word of the bible to us.
Thus, without the Holy Spirit to interpret things to us, we cannot know the meanings of the word of the bible.

Also, Romans 8:11: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
It is clearly seen that it is the same Holy Spirit that "energizes" the dead-in-Christ to rise from their sleep to meet-up Jesus in the sky; and it is the same Holy Spirit that will "energize" wise virgins still alive to meet-up Jesus in the sky [1 Thessalonians 4:17].

Many christians today have let their oil dry up. They allow false teachings and practices (like homosexuality, church-business venture, deceptive anointing, etc) into christianity.

The Spirit of Christ (the Holy Spirit) is the quickening spirit to help in rapture (Romans 8:11).

There's never been a time in history where that the nominal churches (i.e. the Christian Business Men) have become so hungry to find the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Constantly, it's Presbyterian, Lutheran, Catholic, and all, Baptists by the hundreds, Church of Christ, Nazarenes, Pilgrim Holiness, Seventh Day Adventists, Celestial Church of Christ, etc.

THE MID-NIGHT CRY (Re-echoing Restoration)

Matthew 25:6: "And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him".

There was a "cry" made in the evening time shouting, "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him".
A "cry" symbolizes a calling out from a deep slumber or sleep. The people had been sleeping in man-made denominations, and God calls them out. A "cry" is a "shout" or a "Message" to call out.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: "16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord".

The parable of the wise and the foolish virgins applies to our generation, for we are now at the very brink of the coming of the Lord (His physical appearing). Every denomination today is looking for the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit". But according to the Matthew 25, not everybody got it. The wise virgins went in, but the foolish virgins were left behind.
