Theme: THE SUPERNATURAL (Part 2) Text: Mark 16:15-19 Memory Verse: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 Hymn 366: I’D RATHER HAVE JESUS

Understanding that we as believers are called to live the life of the supernatural as seen in Mark 16:15-19, now go ahead and put everything right and stick to the word for just as people spoke against John and even spoke against Jesus so it is that people will speak against you whether you live in the natural or in the supernatural so why not choose the supernatural and live above the ordinary. Jesus had this to say about his and John’s experience while living here on earth and we see it in Matthew 11:16-19
16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
Why do you want to waste your time in distractions instead of focusing on sustaining your supernatural experience? Stick to the word and act on it. Choose to live the Christlike kind of life for Jesus is ever interested in making you more like Him. Then you understand the statement of Jesus in Luke 10:19-20 to the 70 just after one of their testimony sessions of living in the supernatural, which says,
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

WORSHIP/PRAISE GOD AND THEN TAKE THE FOLLOWING PRAYER POINTS: ♀1: Oh God! Keep me hungry and thirsty for more of you. ♀2: Holy Spirit, guide me in the path of righteousness. ♀3: Oh God! Keep me from falling prey to distractions.
